SEINE CRUISE TICKETS & PLANNING

Where do Seine river cruises depart?

Updated

Your operator and ticket determine the pier. The main areas in this guide are Port de la Bourdonnais by the Eiffel Tower, Port de la Conférence by Pont de l’Alma and Port de Solférino near Musée d’Orsay. Always use your voucher’s exact meeting instructions.

Choose your cruise tickets

Check the selected date, boarding point and included services before booking.

Eiffel Tower area: Port de la Bourdonnais

The Eiffel Tower is a useful landmark, but boats have their own gates and check-in arrangements along the quay. Find the operator and boarding information on the voucher before leaving street level. A ticket-office queue and a boarding queue may be separate.

An Eiffel Tower combination may begin at a tour guide’s meeting point rather than the cruise pier. Complete the tower check-in exactly as instructed, and use the separate cruise information for the boat ride.

Pont de l’Alma: Port de la Conférence

Bateaux Mouches departures in this guide use the Pont de l’Alma area. It is a different starting point from Port de la Bourdonnais. Plot the actual quay address, not simply the bridge name, and keep time for ticket validation before boarding.

Musée d’Orsay and other departure areas

La Marina uses the Musée d’Orsay and Port de Solférino area. Théo has a separate meeting area by Avenue du Président Kennedy, while the selected canal cruise starts at Parc de la Villette. A generic map result for Seine cruises can send you to the wrong place.

A practical arrival checklist

Save the voucher offline, check the operator name, identify the access from street level and distinguish boarding time from departure time. If step-free access matters, confirm the route to the specific pier as well as access onto the boat.

Questions before you book

Can I board at any Seine cruise pier?

No. Ordinary cruise tickets are tied to an operator and departure point. A Batobus pass is a different product with its own permitted stops.

Are cruise departures inside the Eiffel Tower?

No. The river boarding points are separate from tower entry. A combination ticket can have different meeting instructions for each part.

Can I take a wheelchair or pushchair?

Access depends on the boat, pier, gangway and river conditions. Confirm the exact departure with the operator before booking, including whether steps can be avoided. A covered cabin does not establish step-free access.
