SEINE CRUISE TICKETS & PLANNING

Lunch cruise or dinner cruise in Paris?

Updated

Choose lunch for daylight views and a free evening. Choose dinner when the meal on the river is your main night out. Compare the actual menus, sailing lengths and table options; the two services need not have identical inclusions.

Choose the atmosphere you want

Lunch gives you daylight for watching riverbank details. Dinner makes more sense if you want to dress for an occasion and let the cruise define the evening. Neither choice automatically includes a window position.

Keep room for the next reservation

A lunch cruise can precede a cabaret or a separate restaurant later in the day. A dinner cruise plus a late show is a tighter combination. Calculate the gap from disembarkation to the show’s required arrival time, not just its start time.

Check the menu independently

Do not assume an operator’s lunch and dinner menus include the same drinks, number of courses or entertainment. Read each selected option as its own reservation.

COMPLETE YOUR PARIS EVENING

A cruise, then a cabaret?

Compare Moulin Rouge, Crazy Horse and Paradis Latin in our Paris Cabaret Guide. Choose the show first, then leave time for the journey from your cruise. Two separate tickets do not include a transfer unless explicitly stated.

Questions before you book

Is lunch better if I have a cabaret booked?

A lunch cruise leaves the evening free and avoids fitting two fixed evening reservations together. Still check the lunch return and the cabaret arrival instructions.

Do lunch and dinner include the same menu and drinks?

Not necessarily, even with the same operator. Compare the courses, drinks, seating and duration listed for each individual service.

Will a dinner cruise be dark for the whole journey?

Not necessarily. Season and departure time affect daylight, especially for early dinner services. Choose your date and check sunset if an after-dark cruise is essential.
